Unexpectedly charming despite the first impression. The entrance looks quite shabby, but once inside, it’s clean and comfortable. The room had nice extras like a fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, and good bedding. The shared bathroom was well maintained. the steep stairs to the room were a bit challenging, and the TV had limited channels. Parking filled up quickly due to the nearby pub, which made evenings busy. I appreciated the friendly owner who was always helpful, but the breakfast options could be improved as well. They only offered a basic selection on weekends. Regardless, the location was convenient for my needs.

I had a grand time! The owner was firs' class, really helpful with the parking and a cold drink on arrival was just what I needed. The room was clean and warm, perfect for a solo traveller. Just a bit busy finding a parking spot, mind you!

i had a great stay at caversham lodge! raj, the owner, was super chill and helped me with everything. the room was clean and tidy. It had a fridge and tea/coffee stuff, which was awesome. the location was perfect for me, i could walk to the train station and some good food spots. even tho it’s on a busy street, the room was quiet, perfect for a good sleep.
the entrance looks a bit sketchy and the shared bathroom is not ideal. also, parking was kinda tricky at busy times.

my stay at caversham lodge was fantastic. the welcoming vibe from raj made everything feel special, and the room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. it was a great upgrade from my previous visit in the city, truly exceeded my expectations!

Friendly host, well-equipped room, with a comfortable bed and electric kettle for convenience, was clean and tidy, located just a two-minute walk to the river, perfect for pleasant strolls.

i had a lovely stay at caversham lodge. raj, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. the room was clean, nicely decorated, and even had a fridge! it's conveniently close to the train station and the town center, making everything accessible. the shared bathroom was well-equipped, and i also appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in my room.
